I launched MarionetteOps.com
So my experiment in coding a heavily AI assisted server monitoring/uptime service is now complete. So I've launched it but to be honest, beyond the learning experience of how much work and how much hand holding AI needs to build out a greenfield project, its mostly just a cheaper version (for me) of existing services so I don't expect it to be a stunning success.
I'd probably need ~200 paying users ($4k MRR) to justify the money and work it requires to maintain. We'll see if it manages it or if I just run it as a free service for a small pool of users while using it myself for monitoring my own projects.
Moving on from that (beyond directory submissions and other marketing tasks), I'm gonna try working on a PBBG and a web serial again but who knows if I will be succesfull juggling two projects. Its probably stupid but the simple fact is I kinda want a break from MarionetteOps ai hand holding and coding and its about 80% of what I need it to do.
I just need to add an API with API keys, a cli to handle that interactively and in scripts easily, and better status page presentation/features. Then I'm probably done with the features for MarionetteOps as it scratches my itch. And I can charge a low price for what it provides.
That said, I doubt I hit 200 paying users, so like I said its more to scratch my itch than it is to be a serious life changing business.
